12-Day Tanzania Bush to Beach Safari

This wonderful adventure combines a 5-day Safari in the Northern Circuit where you will visit Manyara National Park – famous for its big concentration of elephants, the Ngorongoro Crater – a UNESCO Heritage site and the largest unbroken Caldera in the world and of course the Serengeti National Park – The Number 1 Safari destination in the world famous for its Big 5 and The Great Wildebeest Migration, the “greatest wildlife show on Earth”. Then you continue to the magnificent Zanzibar island where you will have the opportunity to relax on the splendid white sand beaches watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting that Ernest Hemingway described as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience with hundreds of baboons and over 400 bird species in its lush jungle like forest.

Serengeti was voted the #1 Safari destination in the world for a reason! Its majestic and awe inspiring beauty is definitely something one should experience in their lifetime. You will be blessed with panoramic views, amazing wildlife and spectacular photos! Serengeti is also the last natural grazing ecosystem in the world and home to The Great Wildebeest Migration, said to be the “greatest wildlife show on Earth”. The Serengeti is said to have over 3 million large mammals and nearly 500 species of birds. It should give you plenty of opportunities to see the “Big 5″ in one day (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and African Buffalo)!

We will go and explore the different areas of this magnificent park, one of the 10 Natural Wonder Travels of the World, with its sprawling savanna, short-grass plains and their granite kopjes. The UNESCO Heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater is actually the largest unbroken caldera in the world and boasts the most diverse group of animals anywhere. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder and also known as the “cradle of humankind”.

After your breakfast we will take you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You will arrive in Zanzibar at 14hrs You will be picked up and transferred to your hotel at Stone Town.

You’ll get a chance to see the interesting meandering alleys of Stone town during your city tour. In the afternoon you’ll have Lunch at Lukmaan Restaurant later be transferred from Stone to Sultan Sands Islands Resort to enjoy the beach. There are unlimited activities in Zanzibar such as snorkelling, diving, sun bathing or relax at the beach. You can take a dolphin watching tour and swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach in the Indian Ocean, or decide to drive for Jozani forest tour for Red Colobus Monkeys.

This day you will check out your hotel in the Morning to the Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back home, or to Dar depending on the direction you are heading to. Or you can take a boat to Dar before connect with your evening flight at Julius Nyerere International Airport for your International flight home.
