Day by Day Overview
Karibu and Welcome to Tanzania. We hope you are as excited to begin your Adventure as we are to having you. Your representative will be waiting for you with a sign at the Kilimanjaro Airport with the flight details you have provided. You will be given a short trip briefing so you know what to expect on our way to your accommodation.

On this day you will relax in your lodge with an options of walking along Crater Lake and enjoy the beautiful views. An early morning walk around the lake perimeter will never disappoint, other activities here include canoeing and coffee tour.

After breakfast your driver will take you to the Arusha Airport to catch a charter to Serengeti National Park’s Western Corridor. The vast, wildlife-studded Serengeti is set to the chirping of songbirds, the thunder of hooves and the trumpeting of elephants. There’s so much to see in this Unesco-recognised park, days are action packed and yet somehow timeless – much like nature and its cycles. Explore the swaying grasslands, acacia forests and sloping hills with eyes peeled for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, black rhinos and much more.

Serengeti National Park is not just home to predators and the big five, even if they are the park’s biggest attractions. Here you’ll also find elephants, giraffes, mongoose, baboons, bat-eared foxes, aardvarks, over 500 bird species including ostrich and eagles, colobus monkeys, monitor lizards, rock hyraxes, agama lizards, and giant Nile crocodiles and hippos that lie beneath the murky waters of the Grumeti and Mara Rivers.

After breakfast drive on safari to the Serengeti National Park’s Central Corridor. We will go and explore the different areas of this magnificent park, one of the 10 Natural Wonder Travels of the World, with its sprawling savanna, short-grass plains and their granite kopjes. You can never spend too much time seeing the vast grandeur of the Serengeti. Enjoy Lunch, afternoon game drive.

Serengeti is also the last natural grazing ecosystem in the world and home to The Great Wildebeest Migration, said to be the “greatest wildlife show on Earth”. The Serengeti is said to have over 3 million large mammals and nearly 500 species of birds. It should give you plenty of opportunities to see the “Big 5″ in one day (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and African Buffalo.

After breakfast depart for Lake Ndutu. Ndutu is within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area bordering the Serengeti National Park. It’s an amazing area to visit from December to March, when there are huge numbers of wildebeest and zebras that give birth to their young during calving season.

At Ndutu plains with the green pastures during this time of the year and the rich mineral soils that the herds adore you are sure to see the thousands of wildebeests accompanied by zebras, and gazelles spread along vast areas, as well as have the rare chance to witness some real wildlife action as the predators engage the herds and try to snatch their loved newly born foals.
Ndutu is also an amazing place to be for the avid bird watchers with 400 recorded resident and migratory bird species recorded. Enjoy your days on safari in the Ndutu area.

After breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. The UNESCO Heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater is actually the largest unbroken caldera in the world and boasts the most diverse group of animals anywhere. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sqkms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder and also known as the “cradle of humankind”. On your way to Ngorongoro, you will visit a Masaai Village and learn the Masaai culture.

Make sure that your camera is ready as you descend to the crater floor. Enjoy the splendor of the magnificent views as it’s a great time for wildlife viewing and sunrise photos. Here you have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, Rhinos and a host of other game species. After enjoying a picnic breakfast, we ascend the crater and then towards our next destination.

Give your brain a rest and improve your memory with some relaxing minutes by the pool. Lie down on a chair and soak in the sun next to the rippling water, or take a dip in the shallow end, and just let the water wash over you. Also you can take a nature walk or visit the local village and souvenir shops.
